"Aadu Jeevanam" Programme
Female goats were given to poor orphans who are staying with their relatives and to the HIV patients. It is an income generating programme and a continuing programme by which the first female goat is given to another needy. As of now, 20 such families were benefited from the scheme.
Vocational Training to Unemployed Women
Selecting the poor unemployed women and helping them to earn money for their living. For that we are giving training in ornament making, Fabric painting soap making and lotion making. Women were also trained in tailoring and paper carry bag making with the help of NGO. This gave confidence to the poor unemployed women making them self-sufficient persons in the process.
Beggary Prevention
Dr. M S Sunil played an important role in controlling beggary in Pathanamthitta district. During Chandanappally pilgrimage with the help of the district police and help line I rescued a small boy from the team of beggars and reported to child welfare society. As a part of her strong initiative, beggary in Pathanamthitta district could put an end up to a limit.
