Dr. M.S. Sunil is the first person to receive permission to interact with the tribal community residing in the region of Pamba (Pathanamthitta District, Kerala) in 2005. With the permission of Forest and Wildlife Minister, awareness about hygiene (bathing, cleaning, clothing) was spread, and created multiple ways to access education (read and write). Medical facilities were arranged; medical check-ups, dresses and food kits were made available for the community. Residing in goodrikkal range of Western Ghats/ Pamba, Govt initiated assistance to the community- ration cards (access to healthy food) were distributed, monthly Hospital visits were encouraged, inspired to get educated, clean huts were constructed- and many projects including UGC projects (women health issues) were introduced.
